It evaporates water from the leather after completing the wet processes from the leather. There are other different types of methods used in preparing leather for finishing processes. This is the machine in which there is a tunnel which helps drying the leather. It is tunnel shaped machine in which there is a circular elongated tube where the leather is dried. These drying tunnels are available in various configurations. The design of which can therefore be changed to fit more or less of panels, according to its quantity, size, heat requirement and output. They can be enlarged by adding more meter modules in the width. These tunnels are next to each other but having a different individual opening. There are different product batches with different heights and drying times which can be dried at individual cycles. The tunnel dryers are complete with electrical supply - control cabinet.

Tunnel drying is followed by dyeing where stock is stretched for drying. Then the stock is pasted on frames made of glass or ceramics or toggles it on perforated metal frames. The frames are then conveyed through drying tunnels with controlled heat and humidity.
